What is Telemetry? Telemetry
is the name given to the technology, which transfers data from an
activity point to a control point. Data can be transferred by wire
such as a telephone line, or by wireless systems such as a mobile
phone network. For instance, the total performance of one or a fleet
of vending machines (the activity point/s) can be remotely monitored
by a single P.C. in an Operations Department (the control point).
